LOVE SURROUNDS ME

I am surrounded by love

Confidence is what you get from Dad’s

This never wanes even when you’re sad

Warm is how a lover’s makes you feel

Even though this may not be real

Fulfilled is the feeling you get from a child’s

And its expression may be wild

That of a sibling gives you protection

Though you may not know until a tough situation

Strong is that of a friend

Especially when they stay till the end

But the greatest is the love of God

It does not matter if you’ve been a clod

He stays with you through it all

And answers when you call

His love waters your life’s dry leaves

And gives you grace to bring in good sheaves

He raises your dead bones

And gives your music new tones

Look around you

And see how love surrounds you
